Dr. Chris Pickel

Meet Dr. Chris Pickel, voted Seattle’s best dentist for eight years running. Over the last three decades, Dr. Pickel has become one of the most respected dentists in the Pacific Northwest, helping thousands of people in the Puget Sound improve their smiles and attain optimal oral health. Dr. Pickel’s great sense of humor and ability to make his patients feel comfortable have allowed him to find his place within the Seattle community.

Always on the cutting edge of dentistry, Dr. Pickel attends about 200 hours of continuing education on a yearly basis to strengthen his skills in cosmetic dentistry and advanced dental technologies. He is also a renowned educator, teaching dental classes on Treatment Planning and Risk Assessment to other dentists at the Kois Center for Dental Excellence in Seattle.

Outside of the office, Dr. Pickel loves to spend time with his wife, daughter, and son, and enjoys following his hobbies. An avid snow and water skier, you can find Dr. Pickel catching air during any season. As a music lover, he has been playing the trombone and piano since his college years.

For Dr. Pickel, the most rewarding part of his work is making long-lasting connections with patients. These meaningful relationships are what drives him forward as a dentist.

“Whether I’m helping someone feel better or look better, it’s about getting to know them and building a relationship.”
